Shot these 2 weeks – 19 September till 2 October 2016

Shot these 2 weeks – 19 September till 2 October 2016 makes up for the previous blog post. 22 photos i like made it here. As usual most are from Valletta. I managed to get a shot of an Alien posing in Valletta, a few fluffy clouds, some bright colours but also a few annoying subjects. The Speaker insists that he has the privilege to park when and were ever he wants, including the middle of Republic Street on a public holiday. Another shows the deplorable state of the entrance to Valletta.

The Valletta FC Champions, Funeral 2014 was held on 6th May in Malta’s capital city. The colourful and noisy cortege passed through Merchant Street up to the Old Theatre then headed down Republic Street to be greeted by a huge crowd of Valletta FC supporters.

The funeral is an old tradition were mock coffins and priests ‘bury’ coffins representing the loosing teams. All through out the night non stop singing and dancing mixed with colourful props makes this a very sought after event.

Carnival 2014, 2 and 3 March

Sunday was as weird as carnival it’s self! A cocktail of rain, sun shine mixed with cold wind and warm wind. The morning carnival was very quiet but slowly slowly as the weather got better people started to flock to Republic street, filling up the seats to watch the dancing and costumes. On the whole it was still a wonder full carnival day, especially the political floats!!
